True to its name, the EDITION 96 is being produced in a strictly limited series of just 96 pieces. It's based on our highly popular Skorpion series of sport and military watches, the second of our MISSION 2025 special editions on the way to our 100th anniversary.

Together with last year's EDITION 95 and models 97, 98, and 99, it authentically illustrates the history of our tradition-steeped watch manufacture, and will be available to true Laco connoisseurs in a stylish collector's box in 2025.

Compared to our models Amazonas, Atlantik, Himalaya, and Mojave, which are characterized by their sporty look and colorful accents, the all-black Edition 96 looks cooler and more elegant, but its pedigree is undeniable.

Its characteristically notched ceramic rotating bezel with white indices and minute markers gives the watch a bold, technical look on first impression. But the combination of its deep black case and face and its distinctive strap also make this watch a great accessory to wear with smart-looking outfits or a suit.

Robust and Versatile

The durable 42 mm case truly lives up to the image of the scorpion on the caseback of the Edition 96. And beneath the black finish you'll find exquisitely crafted high-quality 316L stainless steel. The double-domed sapphire glass and screw-down crown and caseback provide water resistance up to 30 ATM.

That means: The EDITION 96 is great even for extended dives.

The dial is particularly attractive through the contrast between the minimalistic indexes in discreet gray and the powerful numbers in pure white. The minute and hour hands correspond in the same color scheme. The hands and indexes on the dial and bezel are coated in an afterglowing Superluminova C1 and reflect the color differences of the elements with their nuances.

The watch features a Laco 200 movement (based on Selitta SW 200-1 and available in "Top" quality at extra charge) that is as insensitive as it is reliable, and will never let the wearer down.

The always somewhat mysterious and mystic creature is said to not only possess resilience and great adaptability, but also bravery and strength.

The EDITION 96's extraordinary strap perfectly completes the look and function of the watch. The patent cowhide leather provides needed resistance to wear and water. Linen-like embossing and the topstiching running all the way around give the strap its uniquely striking appearance.
